What is a Cookie?Up

A cookie is a small file that we create to store information on your computer. We do not use cookies to track what other sites you have visited or to look at or track any personal or confidential information about you. We make use of cookies to enable authorization control for online subscriptions.

We delete all our cookies when you click "Sign Out."

You are not required to accept "cookies" to use this site; however, if you choose not to accept them, click the alternate sign in link on the sign in page. If you do not accept cookies, you cannot use the convenient auto sign in feature, and the only way you can sign out is to quit your browser.

What happens when I check the 'Auto Sign In' box on the sign in page?Up

If you are using a browser that supports this feature, your User Name and Password are encrypted and saved locally to your computer in a file called a "cookie," eliminating the need to type them in each time you visit our site.

When you select "Auto Sign In" you are allowing anyone who has access to your computer to have access to your subscription to Online Journal CME on CTSNet. At any time you, may sign out from the "Sign Out" option at the top of most pages.

What happens when I click on 'Sign Out' at the top of the page?Up

When you enter your username and password you 'Sign In.' This allows you to view access-controlled content.

If you use a computer that others have access to, we strongly recommend that you sign out when you are done. If you do not, then others can click on "Change Password" and take over your subscription.

It is likely that you do not want this to happen, so we recommend that you sign out once you are finished with the CME activity. For the length of your subscription, you can always sign back in and view subscriber-only content whenever you wish.
