Who can take the CME courses on this site?Up

To earn credits, the learner must have an active individual subscription to the journal for the issue in which the journal-based CME course is offered, and the CME activity itself must not be expired.

Institutional subscriptions are not valid for Journal CME on CTSNet.


How can one earn CME credit?Up

CME credit is granted on a per-course basis (maximum 1 credit hour). To earn credits, the learner must be a subscriber of the journal, answer all the questions for a particular course, and then submit the quiz for grading.


What documentation is provided to prove completion of the CME activity?Up

Once the learner has completed a course and specified how much credit is deserved, his or her My CME summary page will be updated to reflect the hours earned along with a link to a printable version of the official certificate for that course.


How does one know that the answers for the CME quiz are correct?Up

Once the learner has completed a specific CME course, the test score is displayed, along with the correct answers highlighted. A link to the preferred answer in the context of the reading material is also provided.


What percentage of questions must be answered correctly to earn credit?Up

The learner must correctly answer 100% of the questions.
